Please note that the content of this book primarily consists of articles available from Wikipedia or other free sources online. Servilia was the younger full sister of Servilia Caepionis and second wife of Lucullus. Lucullus married her on his return from the Third Mithridatic War, after divorcing his first wife Clodia. Servilia bore him a son, but like her sister, she was faithless to her husband. Lucullus, after putting up with her conduct for some time from regard to M. Cato Uticensis, her half-brother, at length divorced her. On the outbreak of the civil war in 49 BC, she accompanied Cato, with her child, to Sicily, and from thence to the Roman province Asia. Cato left her behind in Rhodes, while he went to join Pompey.
