Greg White (born 1958 in Mullens, West Virginia) is an American basketball coach best known for his association with the University of Charleston in Charleston, West Virginia. He graduated from the (now closed) Mullens High School and went on to play at NCAA Division I Marshall University, where he is a member of the school's hall of fame. After graduating with a business degree in 1982, he was a graduate assistant coach at Marshall. He then coached at the NAIA level Pikeville College from 1984–89, where his teams went 52-85. He then returned to Marshall for one year as an assistant coach before taking a job at the Division II level Charleston where he went 67-68 in five seasons. During this period he also completed his MBA from the Marshall University Graduate College. He then spent the 1995-96 year as an assistant coach at UCLA.
