Please note that the content of this book primarily consists of articles available from Wikipedia or other free sources online. The Elite Two Championship is the second tier of rugby league in France below the Elite One Championship, but above the National Division East and West. There are nine teams playing in Elite 2. Elite 2 was created in 2008 and replaced National League One, which was divided two pools. Some of the teams in Elite Two are the 'B' team or 'feeder' clubs of teams playing in Elite One. Le Cabardes are Carcassonne's reserves. Rugby league football, usually called rugby league, is a full contact sport played by two teams of thirteen players on a rectangular grass field. One of the two codes of rugby football, it originated as a split from the Rugby Football Union in England in 1895 over the issue of payments to players. Its rules were then gradually changed in order to produce a more entertaining game that would appeal to spectators.
