Dickson Choto (born March 19, 1981 in Wedza) is a Zimbabwean footballer who plays for Legia Warszawa. Dickson Choto has spent time at the club with fellow zimbarbwans Herbert Dick and Takesure Chinyama. He appeared for Zimbabwe in the 2004 African Cup of Nations, but he wasn't called up for 2006 African Cup of Nations. Within the sport of association football, a defender is an outfield player whose primary role is to prevent the opposition from attacking. There are four types of defender: centre back, sweeper, full back, and wing back. The centre back and the full back positions are essential in most modern formations. The sweeper and wing back roles are more specialized for certain formations.
