Please note that the content of this book primarily consists of articles available from Wikipedia or other free sources online. The 1976 AFC-NFC Pro Bowl was played on January 26, 1976 at Louisiana Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana. The final score was NFC 23, AFC 20. Billy Johnson of the Houston Oilers was the game's MVP. The referee was Fred Silva. The game is notable for being the only professional all-star game of 1976 to not be held in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. All three of the other major professional sports leagues held their all-star games in Philadelphia that year because of the United States Bicentennial, recognizing Philadelphia as the home of the Continental Congress.
