The control group received kegel exercise and the treatment group received electro-acupuncture at bilateral points BL 33 and 35. The intervention for both groups was 3 sessions per week for 8 weeks. Results: Treatment group: both pad weight and frequency of leakage had p<0.05. Control group: both pad weight and frequency of leakage had p˃0.05. Episodes of leakage and quality of life improved with no marked difference in degree of leakage in both groups.
