Please note that the content of this book primarily consists of articles available from Wikipedia or other free sources online. Ramport Studios was a South London recording studio owned by The Who. Several major albums were recorded at Ramport, including the 1974 album Crime of the Century by the progressive rock band Supertramp. The 1973 album Quadrophenia was recorded there (it was not necessarily a quadrophonic studio). Eventually, Virgin Records acquired it. It is now reportedly a doctor or surgeon's office. The Who are an English rock band formed in 1964 by Roger Daltrey (vocals), Pete Townshend (guitar), John Entwistle (bass) and Keith Moon (drums). They became known for energetic live performances which often included instrument destruction.
