Please note that the content of this book primarily consists of articles available from Wikipedia or other free sources online. Nikolai Alekseev (born on December 23, 1977 in Moscow) is a Russian LGBT rights activist, lawyer and journalist. He is known as the founder and Chief Organizer of the Moscow Pride since 2005, which is officially banned year after year. Together with his advocate group LGBT Human Rights Project Gayrussia.ru, Nikolai Alekseev attempted to organize a large number of public actions to defend the rights of sexual minorities in Russia. None of the LGBT publics actions for which he and his fellow activists required the permission of the authorities were authorized. He is fluent in English and Russian and also has a grasp of French. His blog reports that he visited 42 countries since 2000.
