The present work is concerned with the study of the performance of fiber Bragg grating coated with certain prepared nanostructured metal oxide material in sensing fundamental biomaterials. The present work objective is to test the sensitivity of nanostructured coated fiber Bragg grating sensing unit when dipping in (Deionized water, Saline) via monitoring the characteristics of 1.55 um wavelength shift.
