Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) is a worldwide public health problem. Anemia is an important contributor to morbidity and mortality in CKD patients. The risk of GI bleeding is increased in uremic patients. Despite the fact that overt bleeding is a serious fatal disease for any patient whether suffering from CKD or not, occult bleeding may also make a burden for any patient and even may be fatal for these strenuous CHD patients if not noticed. Surprisingly, we detect occult bleeding in CHD patients in (25.6%), depending on FOBT and/or IDA. Most of these patients underwent EGD examination and we achieved diagnosis in (78.6%).
