This book highlights indicators of best practices in
technology integration in higher education. The book
further describes a detailed study related to the
technology integration practices of faculty in
Schools, Colleges, and Departments of Education
(SCDEs) in the United States of America. The research
questions that guided this study are: 1) To what
extent do SCDE faculty report high fidelity, moderate
fidelity, or low fidelity technology integration
practices in their teaching? 2) Is there a
relationship between level of technology integration
fidelity (high, moderate or low) by SCDE faculty and
access to adequate support from technological
infrastructure, human infrastructure and their
personal attitude toward computer use? The Innovation
Component Configuration Map (ICCM) (measuring
technology integration/fidelity), Demographic
Questionnaire measuring (technological infrastructure
and human infrastructure), and the Attitudes Toward
Computer Usage Scale (ATCUS) measuring attitudes
toward computers) were used in this study. The book
provides practical recommendations for sustainable
technology integration in any educational settings.
