Please note that the content of this book primarily consists of articles available from Wikipedia or other free sources online. The Bass Islands are three American islands in the western half of Lake Erie. They are north of Sandusky, Ohio and south of Pelee Island, Ontario. South Bass Island (41°38′59″N 82°49′08″W) is the largest of the islands, followed closely by North Bass Island (41°42′58″N 82°49′11″W) and Middle Bass Island (41°40′56″N 82°48′39″W). They are located in Ottawa County in the state of Ohio. Historically Middle Bass has also been called Ile de Fleurs and North Bass was known as Isle St. George.
