Please note that the content of this book primarily consists of articles available from Wikipedia or other free sources online. Ystrad Aeron is a small village on the A482 between Lampeter and Aberaeron in Ceredigion, west Wales. It has a number of facilities including a pub, a church and a garage. The pub, the Vale of Aeron, was one of Dylan Thomas' watering holes when he lived in nearby Talsarn in the 1940s. It's beer and food are mentioned in The Dylan Thomas Trail. There is a junction with the B4342 road that leads to Llanarth on the A487 near New Quay which goes through the villages such as Dihewyd and Mydroilyn. This route is very narrow and has some sharp bends so should approached with care. Lampeter (Welsh: Llanbedr Pont Steffan, or more informally, Llambed) is a town in Ceredigion, South West Wales, lying at the confluence of the River Teifi and the Afon Dulas.
