Notas y citas / Texto breve:
Please note that the content of this book primarily consists of articles available from Wikipedia or other free sources online. The Rongmei, also known as Kabui, are an indigenous Naga tribe living in the states of Assam, Manipur and Nagaland in North-East India. They were divided when the official boundaries were set by the Government of India, making them a minority in each state. Most Rongmei live in the Tamenglong district of Manipur. Some of the Rongmeis reside in Imphal valley, the capital city of Manipur. The Rongmei are patrilineal and patriarchal. The Rongmei dance is one of the popular dances of the Naga tribes of Manipur. Gaan-Ngai is their biggest festival which is celebrated annually in December or January.
