The National Service Learning Partnership, or NSLP, founded in 2001, is a US advocacy organization committed to promoting service-learning in schools and communities across the country. Nelda Brown is the Executive Director, and the organization is funded by grants from W.K. Kellogg Foundation and State Farm Companies Foundation. It is sponsored by the Academy for Educational Development. Service-learning is a method of teaching, learning and reflecting, frequently youth service, throughout the community. As a teaching method, it falls under the philosophy of experiential education.
