Please note that the content of this book primarily consists of articles available from Wikipedia or other free sources online. Luther Franklin Roy (born July 29, 1902 in Ooltewah, Tennessee, died July 24, 1963 in Grand Rapids, Michigan) was a pitcher in Major League Baseball. He pitched from 1924-1929 with four different Major League teams. His brother, Charlie Roy, also played professional baseball. In baseball, the pitcher is the player who throws the baseball from the pitcher's mound toward the catcher to begin each play, with the goal of retiring a batter, who attempts to either make contact with the pitched ball or draw a walk.
