Oxadiazole is a five mamboed heterocyclic aromatic compound having two carbon two nitrogen & one oxygen atom & two bonds having general formula Oxadiazole is consider to be derived from furan by replacement of two methane (CH=) group by two pyridine type nitrogen (-N=) called as furadiazoles. There are four possible isomer of oxadiazole depending on the position of nitrogen atom in the ring namely 1,2 ,3-oxadiazole 1, 2, 4 & 1 ,3, 4 oxadiazole. A large number of 1,3,4 oxadiazole derivatives have been found to exhibit various biological activities such as anti –inflammatory anti microbial anticancer anticonvulsant & anti hypertensive etc.
