Please note that the content of this book primarily consists of articles available from Wikipedia or other free sources online. The Power Macintosh 4400 (also known as the Power Macintosh 7220 in some markets like Australia) was a mid-to-high-end Macintosh personal computer designed, manufactured and sold by Apple Computer from 1996 until 1998. The Power Macintosh 4400 was rather different from most other Macintosh models, in that the floppy disk drive is on the left rather than right, and the casing is made of metal rather than plastic. Apple did this to reduce production costs, and in addition also used more industry standard components.
